Info: Adhesive gel is intended for the so-called permanent electrodes (carbon electrodes), as these do not have an adhesive coating themselves. The gel is applied to the electrodes and can then be stuck to the desired part of the body. After use, the electrodes must be cleaned with water; this is repeated from application to application. The adhesive effect of the adhesive gel is not quite as optimal as with the adhesive electrodes.
